... life flows on, enigmatic but not too much, at times playful and perhaps even positively magic... going around and round, in many and mysterious directions, it provokes, insists, and smiles, reveals and withholds, following its own threads, all kinds of wool, but only natural ones, never treated and painted by hand, using the brush with subtle variations with respect for natural colour: beige, straw, hemp, off*white, to which a scale of subdued reds has been added and mingled together... fabrics and coarse weave knits, rough, complex and at the same time primitive, alternate with fi ner ones in an open game of possibility and invention... the cut of the garments is neither too loose nor too tight*fi tting, capable of adapting to the body and the occasion... so it is, now and always, for the collection of daniela gregis: rustling articles of clothing, to be worn like a second skin, without set sizes, pliable... semola, in a word, rough and ready to be transformed... it’s not the garment to choose, but to be chosen and changed... just believe... the shoes are still low, the bags are reminiscent of baskets, the shawls of hedges and bits of sky... things within time, enhanced by touch... during the fashion show, music will be made, perhaps by a solo instrument...
