This year at the Oratorio della Passione there's going to be a grape harvest. daniela gregis is presenting her new collection rossoama, with her linens and cottons soaked in wine, in red*veritas. A large convivial table reminding us of the mystery of grapes turning into wine, slowly spreading out the warmth that brings us together. A collection ever more essential, but cheerful with its combinations of red and white, red and orange, red and violet, red and unbleached linen. As customary, the colors are braced by a storm of lines and squares, both large and small. Just as strong, the presence of patches to use as shawls or wraps, made in double face, but infinitely light, resembling the gossamer spiderwebs woven across country paths. There is also the surprise of large vests in linen and cotton, drawn straight from father's chest of drawers, the maximum in casual comfort. Over all, lightly hovers the gay science of the vineyard and the toast, with one specification: progress is the pride in one's own work in the vineyard as in dress.
