It's the moon which gives breath to the sea, moving the tides like a pendulum. The water uncovers and recovers, revealing like the light of day and, then, hiding, just like the night. From this carillon feeds the life that sounds out opposites, endlessly. Squinting our eyes we put things into focus, we ask for light and almost with the same gesture, try hard to remember, to save from the shadow that takes back everything. tides, the new 2009 2010 autumn-winter collection of daniela gregis picks up this rhythm and proposes double face garments, which can always be turned inside out, simple and variegated in structure, sewn together with raw wools, silk and velvets. Grey and blue dominate, together with red: once again an alternation suggesting energy in play. Knitting, needle and crochet work on the details and to make up the bags. Shoes, yes, but without heels, simple, soft, like girls.
