daniela gregis at the Oratorio della Passione, has chosen once again, this spare and solemn space next to the Basilica of Sant’Ambrogio, to present her new collection, contained within a title: white and over. The front and back of a page, where white is the master, suggesting essentiality. putting it together yourself with the minimum indispensable, starting and finishing to dress oneself with a simple shawl, a piece of fabric, may be rolled or entwined, according to whim. That’s the sense of the square dress, made up of two layers of different whites, muted in shadows, married to a profusion of details and handywork. the square of an idea, symbol of a voyage, simple and yet not easy, as are all syntheses. White, therefore, on and under, within and without, in all its shades and nuances, while color black, blue, red, orange.....flies into the accessories like a sudden spark, an authentic emotion. And then, above all, linen, a little cotton, a tiny bit of silk.
